O.K. – The Musical is an evolving community theatre musical based around the history and lore of Kinderhook, a small, somewhat obscure town in upstate New York. Written and directed by Christopher Kline, the musical is oriented around the propagation of the word “O.K.” and its associations with Old Kinderhook. The project remains in flux, expanding across various iterations which focus on different elements of Kinderhook’s past and present, taking the form of exhibitions, performances, community projects, videos and publications. Over 400 people have worked to create elements of the musical thus far. You can search them individually or see the full list of collaborators here.
